The audience will see a retrospective of the films of the Tatarstan filmmakers and movies of young cinematographers.
(KZN.RU, April 20). From 25 to 30 of April, the Kazan cinema “Mir” will host the “Week of Tatarstan cinema”. Film screenings and creative meetings will take place within the framework of the event. The audience will see both a retrospective of the films of the Tatarstan filmmakers and the movies of young filmmakers created in recent years.
The program of film screenings includes films of different genres: comedy shorts, full-length dramas based on classical works of literature, documentaries about landmark events. These are the works of Ildar Yagafarov, Salavat Yuzeev, Alexey Barykin and Farid Davletshin.
The audience will see such films as “Khalima" by Yulia Zakharova, “Unsent Letters” by Rustam Rashitov, “Gastarbeiter”, “I don’t believe it!”, “Imagine” by Ilshat Rahimbai, “Halves”, “Reduction”, “To Run, or Not to Run” by Baibulat Batullyn, “Living Water” by Aidar Gabdrakhmanov among the pictures of young cinematographers of Tatarstan.
In addition, the film “Mullah” directed by Ramil Fazleev and Amir Galiaskar will be screened within the framework of the “Week of Tatarstan cinema”. It is based on the play of the same name by Tatar playwright Tufan Minnulin, reports the press service of the Ministry of Culture of the RT.
In addition to Kazan, the “Week of Tatarstan cinema” will also be held in other cities and regions of the republic, regions of Russia and in the countries of the Turkic world.
