Drone assembly classes to open at Kazan schools

The classes for schoolchildren are planned to open by July 1

Special classes equipped with equipment for training in the development, assembly and operation of drones will be opened at Kazan schools.

The classes will be opened in 18 schools and one university of the republic as part of the implementation of the Unmanned Aviation Systems national project. Equipment will be completed by June 1, 2024, and special classes are scheduled to open by July 1.

It is necessary that the premises comply with sanitary standards and fire safety, they should be conducted by qualified teaching staff.

In Kazan, such classes are planned to be opened at school № 35 and Engineering Center of the Sovetsky district, school № 179 of the Novo–Savinovsky district, school № 83 and gymnasium №86 of the Privolzhsky district.

The government interdepartmental commission on the implementation of the national project Unmanned Aviation Systems of Tatarstan was established in October 2023. Before that, in early August, the republic submitted an application for the creation of a scientific and production center for drones.
