Musical-poetic battles “Words and Music” will be held in Kazan parks

<p> (KZN.RU, April 25). From April 26 to June 2, Kazan will host a cycle of musical and poetic meetings “Words and Music”. Unusual bands, duets of poets and DJs, will perform on public grounds. </p> <p> The speakers will compete in the musical and poetic battles: reading poems in Russian and Tatar languages to the musical compositions. The project will end with a gala concert at which the winners will receive prizes and awards. </p> <p> The project presentation and casting of participants will take place on April 26 in the residence of creative industries “Shtab” (Tatarstan Street, №20). Famous Kazan artists and musicians will take part in it, including Diana Safarova, a director, producer, actress, Elmira Kalimullina, an Honored Artist of the RT, musician Andrey Rudenko, Shamil Ibragimov (DJ Om), Timur Akulov, Iskander Nurizyanov, an actor and director, Ramilya Karamulla, an actress, and trio “Bradbury”. </p> <p> On May 3, the battle will take place in the park “Chernoe Ozero”. On May 18, Kazan citizens will be able to get acquainted with the project in the Gorkinsko-Ometievsky forest, on May 25, in the Boulevard “Belye Tsvety”, on June 2, the performance will take place in the Aksenov Square. The beginning of all concerts is scheduled for 6 pm. </p> <p> The project “Words and Music” will help in shaping the image of modern urban youth and the return of popularity to Russian and Tatar poets. It will also draw attention to the Year of Theater, said the organizers.
