A green fence was planted in the public space and an updated fountain was launched
The renovation has been completed in the Millennium Park in Kazan – the first since the opening in 2005. The work was carried out in preparation for the BRICS Games and the BRICS summit.
The old metal fence, previously installed around the park, was replaced with a green fence with a length of about 850 meters with an automatic irrigation system. More than 31 thousand annuals, 3,700 bushes, 10 lindens and thuja trees were planted on the territory. A lawn was laid on an area of 48,000 square meters.
The sagging pedestrian pavement was updated in the park. After sandblasting, granite tiles were laid on a new concrete base with a total area of 7.8 thousand square meters. The workers shifted the engineering networks, installed 89 lamps on 24 restored lighting poles and 150 small architectural forms.
