This year, 12 sections of roads and two bridges on key roads have been repaired, as well as three public spaces were landscaped
This year’s work under the national project «Infrastructure for Life» has been completed in Kazan. The project allowed renovating 12 street sections with a total length of 7 kilometers, two bridges on Dostoevskogo Street and over the Bulak bayou. Additionally, a new park has been opened on Kremlevskaya Street, and the boulevard along Serova Street and around Chaikovye Lakes is being improved. According to the Mayor of Kazan Ilsur Metshin these national projects significantly strengthen the ability of municipalities to create comfortable and safe urban infrastructure.

This year, Kazan participates in the implementation of nine national projects. As part of the national project «Infrastructure for Life», 12 road sections with a total length of 7 kilometers with high traffic have been repaired. The complex of work included not only the repair of the asphalt pavement on the roads, but also the improvement of sidewalks on the road sections included in the project, the installation and updating of road safety elements such as road signs, fences, and artificial road bumps. Bike paths were also equipped on some sections: these measures are aimed at ensuring the safety of drivers, pedestrians, and cyclists.
