More than 8.7 thousand tons of snow were removed from streets.

(KZN.RU, January 10). 8737 tons of snow were removed from Kazan streets over the past day. In total, 491 road workers and 608 units of special equipment were involved in work on the streets. 93 combined road machines, 65 CRM “Boschung”, 12 snow loaders, 129 brush tractors, 31 graders, 70 wheel loaders, 54 MKSM “Barsik”, 141 dump trucks, and others were among them.

889 tons of anti-icing treatment were used on Kazan roads, including 69 tons of reagent and 820 tons of sand-salt mixture.

Today, 521 road workers will go to the streets of Kazan for snow removal and 321 units of special equipment will be used, according to the districts’ administrations.

In total, more than 224.6 thousand tons of snow were removed from the streets of the city since the beginning of the winter period, reports the Committee of External Improvement.
