Charity action "White Flower" will be held in Kazan on Palm Sunday

All the raised funds will be used to build a new building of the Kazan hospice.

(KZN.RU, March 28). With the blessing of Kazan’s and Tatarstan’s metropolitan Feofan on April 1, the day of the celebration of the Entry of the Lord into Jerusalem, the All-Russian event "White Flower" will take place in the churchs of the city. All raised funds in this action will be used to build a new building of the Kazan hospice. Everyone is able to support the construction and receive in gratitude for help a white flower - a symbol of charity.

The charity project "White Flower", which has been held for 10 years by the Synodal department for charity and social service of the Russian Orthodox Church, has become a traditional form of active religious participation in social service. Such events will take place on this day in all dioceses of the Russian Orthodox Church. Crafts in the form of white flowers - a symbol of purity and hope, is made by nurses, believers, Sunday school students and just different people like a hundred years ago.

This year the action "White Flower" will be held in Kazan on the territory of two churhes of the city: St. Nicholas Cathedral and the New Jerusalem Bishop's courtyard.
