The final of the All-Russian swimming competitions will be held in Kazan for three days

The winners will be determined in each age group among boys and girls in four categories.

From April 30 to May 2, Kazan will host the final of the All-Russian Mad Wave Challenge swimming competitions for young athletes aged 11 to 14 years from different regions of the country.

A diverse three-day program was prepared for the participants. It includes swimming at a distance of 50, 100 and 200 meters in each of the styles, medley swimming at a distance of 100 meters, freestyle swimming at a distance of 400 meters and a medley 4x50 meter relay. Heats and finals will be held at a distance of 50 meters and in relay swimming. According to the results of the final in each age group, the winners of the overall standings will be determined separately among boys and girls in four categories.

The competitions in Kazan, which will take place at the Burevestnik multipurpose sports complex, will be the final stage of the Mad Wave Challenge series of 2022 season. Earlier, the competitions took place in St. Petersburg and in the city of Ruza, Moscow region.

Athletes from different regions of the country aged from 11 to 14 years participate in All-Russian swimming competitions.

Organizers of the competitions are All-Russian Swimming Federation with the support of the Russian Ministry of Sports and Ministry of Sports of Tatarstan. The Tatarstan Swimming Federation and the ANO “Sports Training Center” are co-organizers of the competitions, the Press Office of the Ministry of Sports of Tatarstan reports.
