The charity event “Children for Children” was launched in Kazan

Instead of buying flowers on September 1, citizens will donate funds to help ill children.

(KZN.RU, August 21). The charity event “Children for Children” has started in Kazan. Instead of buying flowers on September 1, the participants will donate funds to help seriously ill children.

The campaign “Children for Children” is held by the Charity Fund of Angela Vavilova for the third year in a row. School principals, teachers, parents, and schoolchildren can join it.

“The essence of the campaign is simple: on September 1, you can buy one bouquet from the whole class and transfer the remaining funds, equal to the cost of flowers, to help wards of the Kazan hospice”, explained Vladimir Vavilov, the chairman of the fund.

The money raised will be spent on the purchase of special food, strollers, medicines, suction and oxygen concentrators for seriously ill children.

Last year, this action helped raise 165350 rubles, according to the organizers.

More information about the promotion can be found on the fund's website.
