The firefighting regime started in Kazan

Fines up to 400 thousand rubles are provided for violation of fire safety rules.

(KZN.RU, April 25). Today a fire-dangerous season started on the territory of Tatarstan and its capital. At this time, citizens are forbidden to build bonfires, to work with the use of open fire in the territory of settlements and prepare food in the open air. Administrative liability is provided for violation of fire safety rules.

Forests, dense areas, private residential sector and collective gardens are in the risk zone. Citizens are advised to limit visits to forests, not to burn dead wood in residential areas bordering forests without coordination with the forestry. Also, it is necessary to ensure the readiness of fire extinguishing appliances and to check the primary fire extinguishing means in the fire-dangerous season.

You cannot burn dry grass and garbage on the territory of the city, cook food in the open air both on an open fire and the barbecues. Pyrotechnics cannot be used in forest park areas and territories bordering the forest. Inhabitants of risk areas are recommended to check the completeness of fire protection panels, fill the existing tanks with water and ensure unhindered travel of fire equipment to water supply sources.

From March 1 this year, new standards for the maintenance of sites adjacent to the forest began to operate in Russia. Now, according to the law, it is necessary to clean the areas adjacent to the forest, on a strip not less than 10 meters wide from the forest after the snow has melted, or to separate the forest with a fire-resistant mineralized strip of at least 0.5 meter wide or other fire barrier, from dry grass and debris. This duty is placed not only on bodies of state power and local self-government but also on institutions, organizations, farms, public associations, private entrepreneurs and all citizens who own such territories.

Fines will be imposed for violation of fire safety rules: on citizens in the amount of 2 to 4 thousand rubles, on officials – from 15 to 30 thousand rubles, and on legal entities – from 200 to 400 thousand rubles.
