The international forum “TEF-2019” started in Kazan

<p> (KZN.RU, April 10). The Tatarstan International Energy Efficiency Forum “TEF-2019” started in Kazan. The event takes place on the site “Kazan Expo”. Rustam Minnikhanov, the President of the RT, and Ilsur Metshin, the Mayor of Kazan, and others attended the opening ceremony. </p> <p> The forum will also include the 20th International Specialized Exhibition “Energy. Resource Saving” and the 19th International Symposium “Energy Resource Efficiency. Energy Saving”. According to experts, TEF-2019 is the largest project in the Volga Federal District on energy efficiency and resource saving. </p> <p> Visitors to the exhibition "Energy. Resource Saving” is the target audience of specialists in the energy and petrochemical industries, representatives of industrial enterprises. In 2018, 8.8 thousand people visited the exhibition, of which 47.8% were industry experts, 20.3% were chief energy experts, chief engineers, department heads, and 4.9% were managers. </p> <p> Every year, manufacturers and suppliers exhibiting modern and reliable products used in the energy and petrochemical industry take part in the energy exhibition. </p> <p> The exhibition provides an opportunity to find reliable business partners: suppliers of equipment, materials and technical solutions for industrial enterprises. In addition, it is an opportunity to learn about new products in the industry, assess the situation on the market, exchange experience and ideas, as well as improve professional qualifications through attending the business program events of the exhibition. </p> <p> Speaking at the opening ceremony of the forum, Rustam Minnikhanov reminded that the specialized exhibition “Energy. Resource Saving” is held for the 20th time. He said that more than 170 companies are taking part in the forum and the exhibition. It brought together representatives from more than 50 regions of the country, as well as foreign partners. </p> <p> “Resource saving in the modern world is the main link in competitiveness and efficiency”, said Rustam Minnikhanov. “Everything connected with the energy sector is always a lot of new solutions and technologies, and it is important to be in trend. I wish our forum a wonderful work, companies to find new partners and to be useful to each other”. </p> <p> Rustam Minnikhanov thanked all the participants of the forum and the exhibition, as well as the Ministry of Energy of the RF and personally Alexander Novak, the minister of Energy of the Russian Federation, who always supports new ideas. “We feel great support from the federal government and the federal ministry”, said Rustam Minnikhanov. “And we see real results”. </p> <p> Present at the opening of the forum, Anton Inyutsyn, the deputy minister of Energy of the RF, said that Tatarstan is today one of the leaders in terms of energy efficiency, new technologies and new solutions are being used in the region. Anton Inyutsyn offered to add the word “ecology” to energy efficiency so that the event was called “Energy Resource Efficiency. Ecology”. In his opinion, today these concepts are inseparable from the point of view of energy saving and energy efficiency, reports the press service of the President of the RT. </p> <p> TEF-2019 will be held in Kazan until April 12, 2019. </p>
