An educational complex with a kindergarten, a school, a boarding school, and a summer camp will be created in Kazan

The school №165 will be the base for the complex with training in Russian, Tatar and English.

It is planned to implement a unique project in Kazan – to create an educational complex consisting of a multi-disciplinary school, a kindergarten, a boarding school, and a summer camp. The school №165 of the Novo-Savinovsky district will be the base for the new complex. Mintimer Shaimiev, the State Counselor of the RT and the chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Republican Foundation “Vozrozhdenie”, announced this today at a solemn event devoted to the implementation of the project “Cultural Heritage: Island-City Sviyazhsk and the Ancient City of Bolgar”. The ceremony took place in the complex “Pyramid”. Vladimir Medinsky, the minister of Culture of the Russian Federation, Pavel Zenkovich, the deputy minister of Education of the Russian Federation, Rustam Minnikhanov. the President of the RT, attended the event.

The Republican Foundation “Vozrozhdenie” together with the Ministry of Education of the Russian Federation and the Ministry of Education and Science of the RT plan to create a unique educational project. This is the creation of a general education complex consisting of a multi-disciplinary school, a kindergarten, a boarding school and a summer camp. It will give the opportunity to receive academic knowledge in Russian, Tatar, and English”, said M. Shaimiev.

Speaking about the concept of the new project, the State Councilor of the RT noted that the new school should be the first to use effective educational practices. The students will understand other cultures and make a worthy contribution to the development of society.

According to the chairman of the board of trustees of the republican foundation, the first complex is planned to be established in Kazan on the basis of school № 165 of the Novo-Savinovsky district, where about 80% of students know three languages. “The decision was made. Rustam Minnikhanov, the President of the RT supported the idea to make an extension to the school this year”, he said. It is expected that about 2400 children will study in the first complex.

“We are currently studying available technologies from around the world. It is important to form an interest in languages for children”, said M. Shaimiev. He added that special attention should be paid to the training of teachers and educators for successful implementation. “The government of Tatarstan, the relevant ministry of the republic, the Kazan Federal University, the Academy of Sciences need to begin their targeted training”, he marked.

The State Councilor of the RT proposed to name the future educational center “Adymnar, for knowledge and harmony”. “In my opinion, it is a wonderful name. Step by step, to the knowledge and harmony”, he noted.

Rustam Minnikhanov, the President of the RT, called the project unique. “These are not just schools, they are educational centers that will shape the future of our republic. If we have a high intellectual potential, a powerful educational system, it means that we will be competitive, and Tatarstan will continue to develop”.

“So far, any project you were making has been great. We will always support you”, said the head of the republic addressing Mintimer Shaimiev.
