In Kazan, the last delayed building of the Svey company was commissioned – the third house on Chetaeva Street

IlsurMetshin congratulated the equity holders on the completion of construction

Today in Kazan, the last delayed building of the Svey company was commissioned – the third house on Chetaeva Street for 447 apartments. The Mayor of the city Ilsur Metshin congratulated the equity holders on this long-awaited event. “The day has finally come when we fulfilled our obligations with the support of the republican and federal governments,”- the head of the city said.

A compensation house will be built for equity holders on Gareeva Street

Construction of a house on Chetaeva Street, started by OOO Svey company in 2012, stopped in 2015 due to violations of urban planning standards. The developer received construction permission for a 3-section 9-storey building, but the apartments here were sold as for a 9-section 18-storey residential building. The construction was canceled during the erection of the frame of the house. The floors built in violation of the standards had to be demolished, and insolation assessments were carried out to determine the permissible number of floors. As a result, a preliminary project was developed with technical and economic indicators. Now three entrances of the house have 18 floors, the rest – from 3 to 15. Parking for 198 places is also available for the residents of the house.

The Briz construction company completed the house. Today, in a festive atmosphere, the first deputy head of the Executive Committee, Azat Nigmatzyanov, handed a commissioning permit to Ivan Novikov, Executive Director of the Tatarstan Foundation for the Protection of the Shared – Equity Construction Participants.

A compensation house will be built on R.Gareeva Street for the owners of apartments that Svey has already managed to sell in violation of urban planning norms, reported I. Novikov. About 140 deceived equity holders will get apartments in this building.

The Mayor interested about the time of the construction of the compensation house. As explained by the first deputy head of the Executive Committee, Azat Nigmatzyanov, a draft planning of the territory is being prepared now.

Equity holders: “You gave your word that you would not leave us with this trouble, and you kept it”

“I remember well how we met here back in 2015 – the head of the city addressed the new residents after visiting the house. – Then we had no idea how to solve this issue, it was a real challenge for us. We did not organize this long-term construction, but we had to answer. And we are glad that we have passed this road together with you, thank you for your patience.”

In turn, the equity holders thanked Ilsur Metshin and Azat Nigmatzyanov for the work done. “When you came here for the first time, I asked – will you leave us in trouble or not? You said no. And today we are really glad that you kept your word,”- Viktor Kulnevsky, an equity holder, addressed the Mayor.

Today, a system of escrow accounts has been created in Russia, which should prevent the new cases of challenging buildings, the Mayor reminded.

The Mayor instructed to develop a draft area plan with the possibility of construction a school

While developing the territory, Svey built several multi-storey houses for 2136 apartments in the residential area, Azat Nigmatzyanov reminded. “There is not a single social facility provided for such a number of houses here,”- he drew attention.

On the site behind the house there is an empty land plot, which today is owned by KNITU-KAI. The Mayor of the city instructed to start developing a draft area plan in the near future with the possibility of construction a modern school on this site.

The shareholders thanked the Mayor for this decision.
