The Theater Holiday will be held in Kazan

Citizens will be able to take part in a photo shoot with their favorite actors and a street quest.

(KZN.RU, October 12). On October 13, Kazan will host a holiday dedicated to the upcoming Year of Theater in Russia. The program of the event includes excerpts from the performances, a photo shoot with favorite actors, prize draws, a street quest, and much more.

Fanis Ziganshin, an Honored Artist of the RT, will open the event. Luara Shakirzyanova, a People’s Artist of the RT, will tell about the history of the Tatar theater. Ildus Akhmetzyanov, an Honored Artist of the RF, a People’s Artist of the RT, will read the poems of Gabdulla Tukay. Young actors of the theater will play an excerpt from the poetic play “Clouds are Drifting”, and Dina Zakirova, the theater’s violin player, will perform instrumental music.

The holiday will be held on the square in front of the Tatar State Academic Theater named after G. Kamal. The beginning is at 11 am, reports the press service of the Ministry of Culture of the RT.
