An entertaining sports night race will be held in Kazan

More than a thousand residents and guests of the capital of Tatarstan will take part in the marathon.

(KZN.RU, July 10). On July 14, a unique entertaining and sporting race “Night Kazan-2018” will be held in the capital of Tatarstan. The feature of the competition will be an unusually late start time. Depending on the age and level of training, athletes will be able to choose one of four distances. It is expected that over a thousand residents and visitors will take part in the night marathon.

The route of the distance runs along the Kremlin embankment of Kazan.

Children will compete first. At 5 pm young athletes will run a distance of 600 m. All finishers will receive medals.

After the children's competitions, adults will go on start at 10.45 pm with an interval of half an hour: first, the free race for 1 km, then the more prepared athletes for 5 km and 10 km. The competition will finish far after midnight.

Also, Kazan citizens are invited to take part in the Night Masquerade and come to the marathon in some way. The audience favorite prize will be drawn among all the athletes who will pass the distance in unusual costumes.
