(KZN.RU, May 13). On May 16, the semi-final of the tournament “Boxing Cup of President of the RF V. Putin” will take place in Kazan in the “Basket-Hall”. The capital of Tatarstan will take 9 semifinal fights, and the winners will receive the right to reach the final, which will be held on July 22 in Red Square in Moscow.

Four athletes representing the RT will take part in the semifinal duels. Professional boxer Fedor Glazkov (Kazan) is among them, as well as Emir Basirov (Nizhnekamsk), Vitaly Petryakov (Almetyevsk), and Ernar Yernazaruly (Kazan), who are starting their professional careers. They will hold fights with rivals from Bashkortostan, Izhevsk, and Uzbekistan.

The highlight of the evening will be the fight in the second middleweight title for the WBA Continental title. Fedor Chudinov from Serpukhov will meet with German professional boxer Rafael Bezharan. The second most important battle of the evening will be a meeting in lightweight between Russian Roman Andreev and Mexican professional boxer Hesus Kuadro. A fight between the Russians Vaginak Timrazyan (Vladimir) and Alexander Ivanov (Podolsk) will be for reaching the final of the Vladimir Putin boxing cup in the first middleweight.
