All-Russian Olympiad in service, tourism, and hotel business will open in Kazan

Three thousand schoolchildren and students from Russia and other countries will take part in it.

(KZN.RU, February 8). On February 11, Kazan will host the opening of the All-Russian Olympiad in service, tourism, and hotel business among students and schoolchildren. About three thousand participants from 76 regions of Russia, as well as from Kazakhstan and Armenia, will take part in it.

Students from 132 universities, 81 colleges, and also 216 secondary schools will fight for the victory. Competitive tests will be held on the basis of the Kazan National Research Technological University (KNRTU), the regional branch of the Russian Geographical Society in the RT, and the State Committee on Tourism of the RT.

The Olympiad will gather talented young people to research activities, improve the quality of training in such areas as service, tourism, hotel business, geography, social studies, and history, as well as secondary and higher education, according to the organizers.

The opening of the Olympiad will take place on February 11 at Karl Marks Street, №68. The beginning is scheduled for 1.45 pm, reports the regional office of the Russian Geographical Society in the RT.
