(KZN.RU, November 20). Today, the republic meeting devoted to the 80-anniversary of the Supreme Soviet election of the TASSR of the first term was held in Kazan. Rustam Minnikhanov, the President of the RT, Mintimer Shaimiev, the State Counselor of the RT, Farid Mukhametshin, the chairman of the State Council of the RT, Ilsur Metshin, the Mayor of Kazan, and others attended the event in the theatre named after Tinchurin.

R.Minnikhatov noted that the State Council of the RT contributed greatly to Tatarstan's development. "Definitely, the fact that Tatarstan is the region with the powerful economy, the sustained social development, the good functioning of all the authority levels, the development of a strong civil society, is also a tribute of the State Council of the RT", - the President said.
