The new trams and electrobus were presented in Kazan

The new transport was examined by the President of RT, the ambassador of the President of the Russian Federation in the PFR, the Mayor of Kazan, and others.

(KZN.RU, November 14). Today Rustam Minnikhanov, the President of Tatarstan, and Igor Komarov, the plenipotentiary of the President of the Russian Federation in the PFR, evaluated the new trams and electrobus KAMAZ-6282. The presentation was held in Kazan at the river port.

Asgat Safarov, the chief of the President of the RT office, Ilsur Metshin, the Mayor of Kazan, Lenar Safin, the Minister of Transport and Road Facilities of the RT, Andrei Lobov, the chapter of the Vakhitovsky and Privolzhsky districts’ administration, Renat Timerzyanov, the main federal inspector of the RT, Ildar Shakirov, the deputy head of the Executive Committee, Ajdar Abdulkhakov, the chairman of the Transport Committee, and others took part in the event as well.

Rustam Minnikhanov noticed that the new trams were three-section. Those are the first trams of the “Uraltransmash” company in Kazan. The Kazan tram is performed in the ruby colour. The machine can contain almost 170 persons, as well 29 places for sitting are provided in it.

Then the delegation looked up the KAMAZ electrobus of “the second generation”. He differs by the ultraquick charging which takes from 10 to 20 minutes. The charging is implemented from the stations of the ultraquick charging with the help of the halfpantograph. Also the onboard charger is used which can charge the block from three-phase alternating current 330V. It is called “overnight charging”.

The electrobus is designed for 85 persons, 33 places for sitting are provided in it. The model will go through the route of the 3rd trolleybus from the river port to the “Glushko street” stop. The experiment will have been lasting for two-three months, as the President's portal is informed.
