A book about the performer of Tatar folk songs “Alfiya Avzalova” will be presented in Kazan

<p> (KZN.RU, February 19). On February 21, the presentation of the book “Alfiya Avzalova” about the performer of Tatar folk songs will take place in the Kazan City Hall. A concert will be held during the presentation. Artists of the RT will perform the most popular songs from the singer's repertoire. </p> <p> The book is a unique edition consisting of three parts. The first part is the memoirs of the singer, the second part contains the memories of her fans. The third one is the app that includes musical and text material, 100 audio recordings of songs from the singer's repertoire, as well as pictures from the personal archive. </p> <p> Alfiya Avzalova is the founder of the stage performance of Tatar folk songs. It was her own idea of the popularization and performance of folk tunes in a modern way, and she successfully implemented it. The singer was one of the first to create a variety ensemble in our republic with artists of various genres and start her touring activities. </p> <p> The copyright of the book belongs to the Foundation for the Preservation and Development of Alfiya Avzalova’s Work. They will donate one copy to educational institutions and libraries of the republic at no cost. </p> <p> The concert costumes and musical instruments of Alfiya Avzalova will be shown at the presentation of the book, which will be attended by artists, fans of the performer, and many others. </p> <p> The event is scheduled to start at 4 pm, according to the organizers. </p>
