(KZN.RU, December 25). In Kazan, the construction of a religious multifunctional complex begins in the village of Levchenko. A complex for wheelchair users will appear near the mosque “Yardem”. Ilgam Ismagilov, the president of the charitable foundation “Yardem”, told about it yesterday during summing up the social activities of the foundation for 2018.

The religious multifunctional complex “Suleiman” will include a spacious mosque, a center for the study of the Quran with a permanent residence for boys, and a social canteen. In addition, day courses for girls will be organized as well.

The complex for wheelchair users near the mosque “Yardem” will create the necessary conditions for comfortable living and rehabilitation of wheelchair users, people with cerebral palsy and disorders of the musculoskeletal system.

During the summing up of the activities of the fund, the changes that occurred during the year were mentioned. For example, the football field now meets modern requirements and provides an opportunity for people with disabilities to play sports such as football, volleyball, basketball, and tennis.

Also this year, a football team was formed on the basis of the mosque. It consists of boys with hearing problems. And recently, the first inclusive play park for people with disabilities in Kazan was built and opened on the territory of the rehabilitation center at the mosque.

In addition, the charity foundation “Yardem” plans to hold in 2019 five courses for the blind and visually impaired, three groups of deaf-mute, and courses “Support each other”. The children center “Semeiny Ochag”, a boarding house for boys, a center for studying the Quran at the Yardem Mosque, a center for the rehabilitation of alcohol and drug addicts will continue their activities there.

In addition, the charity marathon “Quran for Everyone” will be launched in 2019 to raise funds for publishing interpretations of the Muslim Holy Book on the Louis Braille system in Russian and Tatar.
