An alley in honor of the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Tatar Autonomous Soviet Socialist Republic appeared in Kazan

Employees of the Ministry of Forestry of the RT planted 100 trees and bushes on Volgogradskaya Street.

(KZN.RU, May 17). The staff of the Ministry of Forestry of the RT dedicated the next campaign on tree planting in Kazan to the 100th anniversary of the establishment of the TASSR. A new green alley appeared on Volgogradskaya Street.

Current employees of the ministry and those who had already left the service joined the tree planting. “Woodland in Tatarstan is small. So such actions are very necessary, every new tree is important”, Lyudmila Vetkasova, a veteran of the forestry industry, explained her decision to take part in the event.

100 trees and bushes were planted: seedlings of cedar, mountain-ash, black chokeberry, arrow-wood, and wild rose. In total, 18.5 million trees were planted in the territory of Tatarstan this spring, reports the press service of the Ministry.
