This year it will include 150 objects of social infrastructure.
(KZN.RU, August 12, Alina Berezhnaya). It is planned to create a virtual situational center in Kazan to obtain statistics, forecast and prevent possible threats. Rifat Khannanov, the head of the Department of Information Technology and Communications, announced this at the Business Monday today
According to the speaker, a pilot project for monitoring the security systems of social infrastructure was launched in March this year. It allows receiving all signals from the control units of object systems centrally.
“We studied the experience of Moscow, St. Petersburg, and other large cities. Our goal is not to construct a building with a lot of monitors and people, but to create a virtual situational center in which data will be processed”, explained R. Khannanov. He added that the resource will allow processing signals that are necessary for making management decisions.
This year, 150 social infrastructure facilities will be included in the situation center.
Ilsur Metshin, the Mayor of Kazan, noted that the situational center has long been used in large cities and is important in the work of emergency services. “The situation center is no longer know-how, but a tool that has long been working in big cities. This is a good help for law enforcement agencies, city response services, emergency situations. We carry out this work together with the Ministry of Informatization and Communications of the RT. It is important to keep preschool institutions, schools, parks, squares with a large number of visitors under special control”, noted I. Metshin.
R. Khannanov also said that automatic fire alarms and warning and evacuation control systems are brought into compliance at the objects of social infrastructure and alarm systems are installed. “As a result of the work, the number of false alarm of the automatic fire system to the fire department has decreased by 2 times compared to 2017”, said R. Khannanov.
