The Day of the Prosecutor was celebrated in Kazan

(KZN.RU, January 14). Today Rustam Minnikhanov, the President of the RT, took part in the solemn event, dedicated to the Day of the Prosecutor of Russia.

Ilsur Metshin, the Mayor of Kazan, Renat Timerzyanov, the chief federal inspector for the R, Airat Shafigullin, the secretary of the Security Council of the RT, Ildus Nafikov, the prosecutor of Tatarstan, representatives of ministries and departments of the republic also attended the event that took place in Kazan in the building of the Tatarstan Prosecutor's Office.

In the course of his speech, Rustam Minnikhanov marked that prosecutors often have to deal with non-standard, complex problems that don’t have a direct and quick solution. “The reaction of prosecutors of all levels to non-compliance with the law, violation of the rights of citizens must be not only immediate but also balanced, comprehensively reconciled, in the interests of stability in society and the state. In this case, your work will be deservedly appreciated by citizens and enhance the image of state bodies”, said the President of the RT.

Rustam Minnikhanov added that the role of the prosecutor's office is noticeable in many spheres of life and branches of legal regulation and, above all, in the fight against crimes. “Every year, your employees protect the interests of thousands of Tatarstan residents”, the press service of the President of the RT cites the words of the head of the republic.

The President of the RT noted the work carried out in the sphere of supervision over labor and social legislation observance, including labor remuneration, the calculation of pensions and benefits, as well as the issue of defrauded shareholders and investors.

“You actively protect the rights of legal entities. Prosecutor's supervision is one of the most effective means to prevent unjustified interference in business affairs. All this affects the economy of the region and the quality of our citizens’ life”, marked Rustam Minnikhanov.

According to the President, important areas of work of the Prosecutor's Office are also anti-corruption, supervision over the implementation of laws in the field of ecology, coordination of law enforcement agencies in resolving issues of law enforcement.

In conclusion, Rustam Minnikhanov congratulated Ildus Nafikov with the award of the Order of Honor. “Undoubtedly, this is a worthy recognition of the professionalism and merits of Ildus Nafikov and the whole team”, concluded the President of the RT.

According to Ildus Nafikov, the work of the prosecutor's office of the republic was qualitative and effective despite the fact that the past year was full of various events. “All this is thanks to you, all our employees, the professionals of their business. You are worthy of the title of defenders of the law. I also express special gratitude to our esteemed veterans. You have made and continue to make a worthy contribution to strengthening the law and order”, said the Prosecutor of the RT.

Then, Rustam Minnikhanov presented state awards of the Republic of Tatarstan and Gratitude of the President of the Republic of Tatarstan to the most distinguished employees of the department.
