The Consulate General of Kyrgyzstan became the sixth diplomatic institution in the Russian Federation.
The scope of the consulate's activities will cover the territories of Tatarstan, Bashkortostan, Mari El, Mordovia, Chuvashia, Udmurtia and the Ulyanovsk region.
The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Kyrgyzstan, Jeenbek Kulubayev, arrived at the opening ceremony as an honorary guest. He noted that the opening of the consulate was the result of the sustainable development of Kyrgyz-Russian relations, the union of countries and strategic partnership.
