(KZN.RU, June 13). Two more points of reception of the charitable warehouse “Good Hands” were opened in the capital of Tatarstan, within the framework of the project “Good Kazan”. Now, clothes, shoes and household items can be brought not only to the central warehouse on Kalinin Street, №3, but also at two other addresses: Pushkin Street, №24/26, and Vosstaniya Street, №59 (Entrance 4).
Earlier, the charitable warehouse “Good Hands” was located on Dekabristov Street, №113. In March 2017, Ilsur Metshin, the Mayor of Kazan, visited the warehouse and instructed to work out the issue of opening additional sites for the reception and distribution of things in other areas of the city. First, the City Executive Committee transferred premises with an area of about 1 thousand square meters to the Charitable Fund “Day of Good Deeds”, which implements the project, on a free lease basis at Kalinin Street, №3, and after that two more rooms along Pushkin Street, №24/26, and Vosstaniya Street, №59.
The warehouse accepts clothes, shoes, furniture and household appliances, children's implements, equipment for people with disabilities, long-term food products, books and much more. Clothing and footwear should be clean and in a good state, and household items should be suitable for future use. All property is distributed among socially unprotected categories of citizens (poor, large families), as well as families in a difficult life situation on a gratuitous basis.
