A veterinary clinic with a hospital and a hotel for animals will open in Kazan

<p> (KZN.RU, April 9, Ksenia Shvetsova). The reconstruction of the veterinary clinic of the Sovetsky district is planned in Kazan in 2018. A hospital, a hotel for 50 animals, and a rehabilitation center will be organized on the basis of the institution. The clinic of this format will be the first one in Tatarstan and one of the most advanced in the Volga region. Timur Galeev, the head of the GBU “Gosvetob’edinenie of Kazan”, announced this today at the Business Monday. </p> <p> </p> <p> Large-scale works on the development of state vet unity in the capital of Tatarstan has been going on for the past several years. Much attention is paid to improving the material and technical base. For today, repairs have been completed in four precinct veterinary clinics in the Privolzhsky and Aviastroitelny districts. As T. Galeev said, clinics purchased the necessary office equipment, new laboratory and medical-diagnostic equipment: analyzers of product quality, ultrasound scanners, patient monitors, and much more. </p> <p> </p> <p> This year, it is planned to reconstruct the veterinary clinic of the Sovetsky district. This will be the first state institution in the city, in which Kazan citizens will be able to leave dogs and cats, for example, on holiday. The hotel can host up to 50 animals at the same time. “The hospital is designed to accommodate up to 20 animals”, explained T. Galeev. “The possibilities of a rehabilitation center equipped with unique physiotherapy equipment will allow caring seriously ill animals after extensive surgical interventions, chronic and rare diseases”. He also added that the clinic is already fully staffed with specialists at the moment. The financing of this project is planned to be implemented at the expense of extra-budgetary funds. </p> <p> </p> <p> “We are already used to the news about the modernization of medical infrastructure for people, but a stationary hotel for animals was just a dream for us. And the fact that now it becomes a reality, speaks about the level of development of the city. Today we are ready for such innovations”, said Denis Kalinkin, the head of the Kazan Executive Committee. </p> <p> </p> <p> According to T. Galeev, the project of reconstruction of the clinic of the Sovetsky district, the amount of financing of which is about 10 million rubles, has already been agreed on. At the moment, tender works are being conducted. The completion of all the work is planned for the fall of this year. </p>
