Performances and cinema will be combined in Kazan

The project “Kino+Teatr” starts with the play “The Case of the Sexton Viskovaty”.

(KZN.RU, March 20). The large-scale project “Kino+Teatr” (Rus. “Cinema+Theater”) starts in Kazan. The series of events connecting the two types of art will be opened by the play “The Case of Sexton Viskovaty” on the stage of the Mir Cinema. The performances of the play will closely overlap with the thematic video sequence on the movie screen.

The play “The Case of the Sexton Viskovaty” tells about one of the tragic figures in Russian history Ivan Viskovatov, the first head of the diplomatic service of Russia. The performance is realized by the creative laboratory “Ugol”. The production involved lighting and sound equipment, a specially written score, and theatrical scenery will replace the big screen.

The project “Kino+Teatr” is designed for the whole year; events are planned to be held every month. The priority directions of the project will be the original productions using a large screen, the organization of creative meetings with cultural and art workers, in particular, theater actors, directors, reports the press service of the GBUK RT “Tatarkino”.
