Metropolitan of Kazan and Tatarstan Feofan will lead the divine liturgy in the Raifa Monastery.
(KZN.RU, January 17). On January 18 and 19, on the feast of the Epiphany, divine services will be held in Kazan Orthodox churches. Metropolitan of Kazan and Tatarstan Feofan will lead the liturgy in the Holy Trinity Cathedral of the Raifa Monastery.
On January 18, the head of the Tatarstan Metropolis will head the royal clock, the great vespers and liturgy of St. Basil the Great in the Nikolsky Cathedral of Kazan (Bauman Street, №5). A great consecration of water will take place after the service. Services will begin at 8 am.
On the evening of January 18, the metropolitan of Kazan and Tatarstan Feofan will make an all-night vigil in the Epiphany Cathedral of Kazan (Bauman Street, №78). The beginning of the service is at 5 pm.
On the night of January 18-19, fr om 11.45 pm, Metropolitan Feofan will lead the liturgy at the Trinity Cathedral of the Raifsky Monastery. At the end of the festive service, the clergy and believers will proceed with a procession to the Raifa Lake, wh ere a great consecration of water will be performed.
Also, night service will be held in 4 churches in Kazan. From 11 pm, the divine service will begin in the Bishop's Compound in honor of the Holy Martyr Kirill, Metropolitan of Kazan (Chistopolskaya Street, №30), in the parish of the Advent Church (Lukovsky Street, №21), as well as in the Church of Yaroslavl Miracle-Workers (Ershov Street, №25). At 11.30 pm, the divine service will begin in the Kizichesky Vvedensky Monastery (Dekabristov Street, №98), reports the press service of the Kazan Diocese.
