Renovation of the residential buildings completed by 76% in Kazan

<p> Renovation of the housing stock of Kazan is carried out by 76.1%. As many as 217 apartment buildings will be renovated this year, including 31 houses by savings from previous years. In 18 houses, the work will be carried out comprehensively. This was announced at the staff meeting by the head of the Housing and Utilities Committee Vasily Lysachkin. </p> <p> Along with the overhaul, the commissioning of the completed works is underway, at the moment almost 29% of the acceptance reports have been handed over. “Today, the most important issue is quality control of work on the overhaul of housing. If necessary, we will promptly work on the solution of all emerging problems. We keep constant control with contractors and residents of houses, especially since the funds of the population are the largest source of funding for the program,”- Rustem Gafarov, head of the Executive Committee, noted. </p> <p> Seasonal maintenance (repair of heating systems, roofs and facades) must be completed by August 15, and the rest is planned to be completed by November 1. In total, this year construction workers will renew the roof in 80 residential buildings, facades of 47 buildings, central heating systems in 66 buildings, cold water systems in 55 houses, hot water systems in 25, drainage systems in 54 houses and electrical works in 36. Fire-fighting automation and smoke removal systems will be installed in two buildings, a chimney will be repaired in one building, and weather control heating units will be installed in five residential buildings. </p> <p> “As an experiment, air drains and chimneys are repaired with flexible polymer sleeves in one of the houses. The work is expensive, it is comparable in cost in combination with the replacement of cold and hot water supply, sewerage and electricity throughout the house. But it needs to be done based on the results of system check and for the safety of residents,”- the speaker said. </p> <p> In addition, 158 new elevators will be installed in 54 residential buildings. During the renovation, equipment of domestic production is installed. To date, the work on the replacement of elevators has been completed by almost 97%.” </p> <p> “The renovation of 53 residential buildings from 2 to 4 floors continues. Over the past five years, 385 low-rise residential buildings have been renovated. On average, residents of these houses collect about 200 thousand rubles a year, and a comprehensive overhaul costs about 22 million,”- the head of the Committee noted. </p> <p> The Our Yard republican program is performed at the same time with the housing renovation program. </p> <p> The acceptance committee is consisted of specialists from the State Housing Fund of the republic of Tatarstan, the Housing and Utilities Committee, the State Housing Inspection, the district administration, the property management company and the owners. To date, 49 state commissions have been held. “In case of revealing facts of improper performance of work, I ask the residents to inform the construction control service, the Housing and Utilities Committee, the district administration and the property management company,”- Vasily Lysachkin addressed the residents. </p>
