Chemist's Day in Kazan: pop stars, a chemical show, a food court, master classes, a photo zone and fireworks

<p> On June 2, Kazan residents and tourists will have an opportunity to visit various events dedicated to the Chemist's Day. They will be held take place at the Kazan Family Center with the participation of artists Barbara-band, Elvin Grey, Sergei Lazarev and DJ BubbleGum. This was announced at the Business Monday meeting by the head of the Department of Culture of the Executive Committee of Kazan Azat Abzalov. </p> <p> Ilsur Metshin, the Mayor of the capital of the republic of Tatarstan, thanked Sibur company for a new event in the cultural life of Kazan – the tradition of celebrating Chemist's Day. </p> <p> “Chemist's Day is a special day for our city. Chemistry and petrochemistry industry is introduced in our city, our enterprises - Kazanorgsintez, Nefis Cosmetics, Tasma-Himgrad, tens of thousands of people and families have connected their lives with chemistry. These enterprises have made a huge contribution to the city's economy, social and cultural life,”- he said. </p> <p> The head of the city reminded that this year Kazanorgsintez (part of the SIBUR Group) marks its 60th anniversary, the company is one of the flagships of the Kazan industry. </p> <p> “The company has played a key role in the economy, and also conducts active sponsorship of highest achievements sports and our professional teams. This is Rubin football club and water polo Sintez, including children's sports movement and big amateur sports,”- said Metshin. </p> <p> The celebration will begin at 18:00, the program includes a chemical show, as well as an intro-acrobatic show. Kazan residents and tourists can visit a food court, workshops, a photo zone and a photo booth. </p>
