The water in the Chernoe Ozero will be renewed by summer

<p> (KZN.RU, April 12, Alsu Safina). The park “Chernoe Ozero” is being prepared for the summer season. In particular, pumping of water from the lake began, it is planned to fill it with new water at the end of May. </p> <p> In winter, the park was equipped with a skating rink, which officially opened on December 14. About 10 thousand residents and guests of Kazan visited the skating rink only on New Year's Eve night. Now the “Chernoe Ozero” is being prepared for the summer season. As the press service of the Directorate of Parks and Squares told, the territory is being cleared, water is being pumped out, and bumpers are being removed from the rink. While there is still snow in the park along the lake, it is expected that the meltwater will flow into the basin of the reservoir. In this case, the water will be re-pumped. The bottom of the lake won’t be clean, but it is supposed to clean the surface of the reservoir regularly in summer. </p> <p> “The lake will appear closer to the end of May”, said in the Directorate. The depth of the reservoir will be 1.5 meters. </p> <p> The press service of the Directorate of Parks and Squares also said that it is not supposed to inhabit the lake. </p> <p> Next week, experts will begin pruning trees in the park. On April 20, the subbotnik will take place there as well as throughout the city. In May, it is planned to plant flowers in the park, including in the central flowerbed. The summer program starts in the city’s parks and squares on May 4. </p> <p> The “Chernoe Ozero” is a monument of landscape architecture of the XVIII-XIX centuries of regional importance. It is considered one of the oldest parks in Kazan. </p>
