The winners of the contest of national teams were also noted at the ceremony.

Today an awarding ceremony of the winners of the Artem Aidinov Prize and the winners of the competition of national teams took place in the Executive Committee of Kazan. The awards to representatives of the voluntary national teams were presented by Rustem Gafarov, the first deputy head of the Executive Committee, and Airat Faizov, the chairman of the Committee on Children and Youth Affairs.
Rustem Ibragimov, the head of the Public Order Organization Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the RT, Sergey Chankin, the deputy head of the Police for the Protection of Public Order of the Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia for Kazan, representatives of enterprises, housing companies, educational institutions, and others attended the event.
Airat Faizov reminded that the tradition of awarding a special city annual prize named after Artem Aidinov for employees of youth and student formations for the protection of public order has existed for many years. Artem Aidinov, heroically killed in the detention of highly dangerous criminals, became an example, a model of courage and dedication.
For 2 years, voluntary youth teams were created in 13 major universities in, 3 colleges, at 23 enterprises of Kazan and in 4 branches of the Municipal Institution “Podrostok”, which unites teen clubs in the city. To date, more than 400 national teams of more than three thousand people have been created in Kazan.
Voluntary people's guards make a huge contribution to ensuring security in the republic, and especially in large cities, noted Rustem Ibrahimov. On the territory of Tatarstan, more than 20 thousand people participate in the work of the national teams, of which more than 3 thousand are in Kazan. “To date, more than 20 thousand crimes have been solved with the participation of voluntary assistants in the republic. This indicates the effectiveness of your work and the contribution that you make in providing comfortable conditions for our fellow citizens and guests of the republic”, R. Ibrahimov noted and thanked the young volunteers for their work.
Gazinur Mukhametov, the deputy commander of the voluntary national team of the KNRTU, said that the student squad of law and order of the university is a public organization and is included in the register of voluntary national teams of the RT. The main task of the squad is to strengthen order and prevent offenses among students. “The members of the squad of law and order are part of the patrol teams who work daily at the university and beyond. Not a single mass cultural event is held without the participation of the children”, said G. Mukhametov. “There are 3 patrol groups that daily provide public order in the dormitories. Members of the squad of law and order actively contribute to law enforcement”. He also added that combat sambo trainings are provided for members of the squad that take place 2 times a week.
The importance of maintaining order at public events was confirmed by Alexander Musatkin, the commander of the student security service of the Kazan Construction College. According to him, the squad personnel currently includes 15 people. “The college regularly hosts events of various levels, including the Republican WorldSkills Championships and Abilimpiks. Our security service was concentrated around these events”, said Alexander Musatkin.
Speaking about the work of the Kazan headquarters of youth student squads, squad member Kirill Khaidarov noted that the total number of young student folk squads is about 350 people. “People come to us when they want to make the country and the world around them better. Artem Aidinov, in whose memory the prize was established, is a model of behavior for us”, he marked.
The competition for the special city prize named after Artem Aiydinov was held in Kazan from 16 to 30 of November. “The priority objectives of the prize are to increase the interest of young people in making public order, increasing the personnel of law enforcement agencies in the future, perpetuating the memory of Artem Aidinov”, said A. Faizov. He reminded that the competition had previously been held in absentia based on information collected in educational institutions. This year it was decided to determine the winners in person on the basis of sports and intellectual tests.
Sergey Chankin, the most active and distinguished members of the national teams, presented letters of gratitude to the Russian Interior Ministry’s office in Kazan. He thanked the guards for their work and contribution to ensuring the safety of the residents of the republic and its capital. The award ceremony was continued by Airat Faizov.
This year, a competition was held among the people's teams in Kazan to stimulate the activities of people's teams and further involve the public in law enforcement work. The winners were selected in 10 different nominations. Rustem Gafarov awarded diplomas of the Mayor of Kazan. He noted that over the recent period a decrease in crime has been recorded in the capital of Tatarstan. This is the great contribution of the work of the national teams, believes the first deputy head of the Executive Committee. “You are doing a very important job. And no less important is that we preserve the memory of such legendary personalities as Artem Aidinov”, said R. Gafarov. “One of the most important results of what you do is peace on the streets of the city. Thank you and from us and from mothers who send their children to schools and kindergartens without any worries. This is worth a lot”.
Tatiana Ovchenkova, the commander of the brigade “Zarechie Managing Company”, and Alsu Nizamutdinova, a teacher and organizer of secondary school №72 of the Sovetsky district, were awarded diplomas of the Mayor of Kazan.
At the end of the ceremony, A. Faizov thanked the participants for their hard work and significant contribution to the implementation of youth policy and the protection of public order in Kazan.
