On April 1 the spring recruitment started in Kazan and other cities of the Russian Federation. 660 persons will be sent to the service in the Armed Forces. Shamil Khannanov, the military commissar of the Vakhitovsky and Privolzhsky districts of Kazan, said today at the Business Monday. Ilsur Metshin, the Mayor of Kazan, entrusted to the military commissar to monitor the recruitment of the Kazan conscripts. </p> <p> «In Kazan 4532 persons are sent to conscription centres, more than 3000 of them have the right to a deferment.during study in an institution of higher education, more than 850 citizens are for other reasons», - informed the speaker. 660 persons will be sent to the service in the Armed Forces: 178 persons from the Vakhitovsky and Privolzhsky districts, 165 persons from the Novo-Savinovsky and Aviastroitelny districts, 170 persons from the Sovetsky district, and 147 persons from the Kirovsky and Moskovsky districts. </p> <p> Sh.Khannanov noted that the conscripts will be part of the Baltic military navy, the Presidential and Preobrazhensky regiments in Moscow and scientific companies. «We will do our best to live up to the honour of having been elected the service in the Presidential and Preobrazhensky regiments, and scientific companies. It says about the conscripts' mental potential of Kazan high school. It is a military elite, and the military service in these divisions is a particular honour», - emphasised Ilsur Metshin. </p> <p> The priority of the military service for citizens is the implementation of the instructions of the Armed Forces General Staff of the Russian Federation. It is a recruitment of the citizens with higher professional education. Sh.Khannanov informed that in Kazan such specialists will amount not less than one fourth of the recruitment. </p> <p> He called colleagues of services of state and municipal departaments to provide a unique opportunity to facilitate work in this area, in a comprehensive manner. Also he emphasised the importance of referral for medical examination of conscripts in medical facilities, including high-technology methods of research, as well as their vaccination. </p> <p> «I ask traditionally the heads of districts' administrations, the Health Department of the Ministry of Health of the RT in Kazan, the Ministry of the Interior, the Motor Licensing and Inspection Department of the city to be connected to this work», - said the Mayor. </p>
