Gurbanguly Berdimukhamedov, the President of Turkmenistan, arrived in Kazan on a working visit

<p> (KZN.RU, June 23). Today Gurbanguly Berdimukhamedov, the President of the Republic of Turkmenistan, is in Kazan on a working visit. Rustam Minnikhanov, the President of the RT, Alexey Pesoshin, the prime minister of the RT, Farid Mukhametshin, the chairman of the State Council of the RT, Ilsur Metshin, the Mayor of Kazan, met the honored guest at the airport. </p> <p> The delegation of Turkmenistan headed by Gurbanguly Berdimukhamedov got acquainted with the exhibition of industrial products produced in Tatarstan. KAMAZ presented its trucks, buses, including those working on gas, and electric buses. Kazan Helicopter Plant demonstrated a light helicopter “Ansat” equipped with a medical module. Also, the President of Turkmenistan got acquainted with new technologies in the field of oil production and refining, introduced by Tatneft. Representatives of the Group of Companies “RariTEK” spoke about the experience in installing gas equipment. In addition, the Zelenodolsk plant named after A. Gorky, the technopolis “Khimgrad”, “KER-Holding”, Kazan “Giproniiaviaaprom”, and a number of other Tatarstan companies attended the exposition. </p> <p> Today, the main part of the working program will be a bilateral meeting of the President of Tatarstan and the President of Turkmenistan in the Kazan Kremlin and negotiations in an expanded format. During the meeting, it is planned to discuss promising areas of cooperation and to sign a number of agreements affecting the automotive industry, petrochemistry, education. </p> <p> The delegation of Turkmenistan also included deputy chairmen of the government, ministers of foreign affairs, sports and youth policy, culture, reports the press service of the President of the RT. </p>
