All-Russian Ded Moroz arrived in Kazan

<p> (KZN.RU, December 1, Alena Miroshnichenko). The All-Russian Ded Moroz arrived in Kazan, as part of its third New Year's journey throughout the country. At a press conference in the Cultural Center "Moskovsky", he told reporters that this year he plans to meet with young patients of the neurosurgery department of the RCH, wards of an orphanage, needy families, and attend a city holiday. </p> <p> The capital of Tatarstan has become the equator of this year’s journey. The winter wizard began his journey on November 8 and has already visited 11 cities. In total, he plans to go around 22 cities of our country. The last point of the route is Moscow, where Santa Claus will arrive on December 30. </p> <p> “Our mission is very simple. It's a relay race for good. We fulfill the wishes of those who first need help. We are going to children's homes, yesterday, for example, we were in the republican clinical hospital, in the neurosurgery department. We also meet with families who are facing life's difficulties”, says Ded Moroz. </p> <p> Timur Weinstein, the NTV general producer, who has been traveling with the wizard for more than a year, notes that meeting and talking with Ded Moroz for the kids is psychologically equivalent to the good treatment they receive in the hospital. “It gives them strength”, he says. </p> <p> During his visit to Kazan, the All-Russian Ded Moroz also plans to visit the orphanage “Gavrosh”, the institution for children “Zdravushka”, and a street party in the Uritsky park. </p> <p> In addition, according to the established tradition, Ded Moroz will drop in the homes of several Kazan families, whose requests and stories seemed special to him. “Year by year, I observe a good tendency: people ask for gifts not for themselves. Both adults and children talk about those who live next to them”, the magic guest emphasizes this feature. Such examples are found in Kazan. So, the wizard hopes to get acquainted with Islam Minvaliev, who wrote him a touching letter. 8 years ago, the boy's family was left without a father. Islam was 3 years old then, and his younger brother was 8 months old. The mother alone provides the whole family, but the children cannot get all the warm winter clothes, skis and high-speed bicycle. Therefore, a young Kazan resident turned to Ded Moroz for help. The guest of Kazan also plans to meet with the family of the Bochkovs, where 13 children are being raised. </p> <p> In addition, yesterday Ded Moroz managed to attend a gala concert of the festival “Good Wave”. “This is an amazing event, millions of viewers should know about it. When you see the support that they give to the children, you yourself are charging with positive energy and confidence that you will never be left alone”, marked the general producer of NTV. The channel will show a gala concert of the festival throughout the country. </p> <p> “For the third year, the Kazan City Hall has supported the journey of Ded Moroz. This is a great relay of good deeds. For Kazan, one of the 12 priorities is the project “Good Kazan”. Everything that we do, we strive to do with kindness and urge everyone to do good deeds in our city. Ded Moroz helps us with this, with a vivid example showing how you can support children in a difficult life situation”, said Azat Abzalov, the head of the Department of Culture. </p> <p> As a sign of gratitude for the support of the Ded Moroz travel project, the general producer of the NTV channel presented the anniversary stamp of the company to the Kazan City Hall. Azat Abzalov conveyed to the partners of the Kazan City Hall an etching with a view of the Kazan Kremlin. Ded Moroz also received a gift: the album “The Culture of Kazan” with the main events of the past year. One of them was with the participation of the wizard. </p> <p> Over the 2 years of his journey, the winter wizard traveled 35000 km, visited 200 social institutions and 150 families, and presented 175 tons of gifts. </p>
