Everyone will be able to buy handicrafts, various souvenirs and try dishes of Tatar national cuisine. Daria Sannikova, the director of the Tourism Promotion Committee, told this at a press conference dedicated to the meeting of the three millionth tourist. </p> <p> </p> <p> New Year's fairs in the capital of Tatarstan will be held at various sites that are popular with Kazan tourists. The main highlight of the fairs is the acquaintance of the guests of the city with the national Tatar traditions. “The fairs will be held in the traditional European style. They will present the national traditions of Kazan as vividly as possible”, said D. Sannikova. She added that the main concept of preparing the city for the upcoming New Year is that all the Christmas trees that will appear in the city will be united by a single theme. The main ones will be installed in the park “Chernoe Ozero” and near the Family Center “Kazan”. </p> <p> </p> <p> In addition, thematic parties will be held in each restaurant and hotel of the city on the eve of the New Year with the participation of Russian pop stars. All city museums will have a new schedule that will be convenient for all citizens and tourists during the New Year holidays. </p> <p> </p> <p> “We want to create a lively New Year’s atmosphere in Kazan. Sannikova. </p> <p> </p> <p> Ilsur Metshin, the Mayor of Kazan, ordered to draw up a concept for the New Year design of the city at one of the Business Monday meetings. </p>
