Representatives of more than 100 countries to take part in the Games of the Future

The program includes 21 innovative phygital disciplines

About 2,000 participants from more than 100 countries will take part in the Games of the Future in Kazan. The tournament program includes 21 phygital disciplines. Russian Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Chernyshenko announced TASS about the games.

“We are preparing to host more than 260 experienced teams and about 2 thousand participants. Athletes from more than 100 countries have already confirmed their participation, representatives of different countries can play on the same team. We plan to broadcast the games on streaming and online platforms, and the competitions will also be included in the programs of international broadcasters," Russian Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Chernyshenko said.

The competition will use the latest developments in cyber sports, robotics, AR and VR, information technology and artificial intelligence.

“The Games of the Future is the first international multisport event in the world. It will certainly become one of the most iconic sporting events in 2024. These competitions are created to open a new chapter in the world of sports, to demonstrate a unique sports concept to the international community,” Dmitry Chernyshenko said.

The Games of the Future will take place in Kazan from February 21 to March 3, they will be held in new disciplines using modern technologies, the digital and physical activity.
