During the Year of Family, about 300 events promoting traditional values have taken place in Kazan

<p> This year, about 300 events have been held in Kazan to promote traditional values, according to Elena Studenikina, the head of the Registry Office of the city. </p> <p> The promotion of family traditions among young people is an important aspect of the work of the Kazan Registry Office. Special classes are offered to schoolchildren and students in the city. Students are engaged in activities such as celebrating anniversaries, meetings with large families, and even hosting marriage registrations. </p> <p> A simultaneous marriage ceremony for 45 newlywed couples from all over Tatarstan was held at the Kazan Family Center on the Day of the City and Republic. The event was attended by students from the Kazan Cadet Boarding School. Additionally, on December 6, the cadets were invited to the marriage registration of Georgy Galiyev, a participant of the special military operation who has been awarded medals for bravery, excellent service, and the Order of Courage. </p> <p> In Kazan, much attention is given to working with newlyweds and those decided to divorce. At meetings of the Young Family School, spouses learn about family law, measures to support young families, how to overcome challenges, and where to seek help in difficult life situations. </p> <p> This year, about 7,000 couples who are planning to get married attended the Young Family School. As part of the project, more than 100 mediation sessions were held with spouses who decided to divorce – according to the results, more than 60 couples changed their intentions. </p> <p> The Kazan Registry Office also organizes ceremonial presentation of birth certificates. The event includes a naming ceremony – a separate script is prepared for each ceremony. Since the beginning of this year, more than 207 families have participated in the ceremony. </p> <p> Solemn events are held monthly in all departments of the Registry Office, where they honor spouses celebrating anniversaries of family life. This year, more than 1,000 couples have already been congratulated. </p> <p> The Registry Office holds events dedicated to Father's Day and Mother's Day. On October 16, an event was held with the participation of the families of employees from the Kazan Powder Factory, Metroelectrotrans, Kazanorgsintez, and other companies. On Mother's Day, the Kazan Family Center hosted a celebration for mothers with many children. At the Privolzhsky district’s office, mothers solemnly presented the first passports to their children. </p>
