Baroque music will be performed at the GSCH named after S. Saidashev

The concert of the State string quartet of the RT will be held within the framework of the cycle “Music by candlelight”.

(KZN.RU, April 18). Concert of the State String Quartet of the RT “Italian Baroque. Neapolitan songs” from the cycle “Music by candlelight” will be held on April 22 in the Great State Concert Hall named after S. Saidasheva. The program includes music by Italian composers A. Corelli, A. Vivaldi, and N. Paganini.

The growing popularity of Baroque music shows an unflagging interest. It has lived in inquisitive minds for more than three centuries, prompting them to search for answers to many of the riddles left by the classics.

Italy is famous for its brilliant bowed instrumental school. Traditions of bright representatives of the Baroque A. Corelli, A. Vivaldi in the XIX century were continued by virtuoso N. Paganini. This country became the cradle of opera, the birthplace of outstanding opera composers and singers. Songs born in Naples (“Santa Lucia”, “O Sole Mio”, “Dicitencello vuje”, “O surdato 'nnamurato”, and many others) fascinate with their beauty and sincerity.

Masterpieces of Baroque music in collaboration with the quartet will be performed by well-known musicians. Svetlana Budilova (soprano), Ildar Rakhimov (tenor), Andrey Ivanushkin (tenor), Vitaliy Kharisov (guitar, lute), Eduard Akhmatov (piano), Alexander Bessonov (oboe). Liliya Apakova, a musicologist and a lecturer, will transfer to the atmosphere of the Italian Baroque.

The beginning is at 3 pm, reports the press service of the GSCH.
