5 thousand parking zones will be created due to repair of 296 Kazan yards

<p> (KZN.RU, March 25, Ksenia Shvetsova). In Kazan 296 yards are planned to be equipped with a length of more than 300 thousand square metres this year. Igor Kulyazhev, the deputy head of the Executive Committee and the chairman of the Committee for External Improvement, reported about that today at the Business Monday. </p> <p> Primarily, the territories with the largest amount of living population and the largest wear-and-tear of asphalt entered to the list of projected yards. Besides the priority is given up to the yards of those houses, where overhaul has recently been carried out, because workers can infringe the equipment characteristics, the speaker noted. </p> <p> During repair it is planned to replace asphalt, to execute the expansion of roadway, to install assistive devices for small-mobile groups of the population. Also 5 thousand parking zones will be equipped for citizens having motor cars. </p> <p> «During realisation of this program we try to take into consideration the opinions of all inhabitants living in the house. Whenever it is possible we create parking zones, driveways and sidewalks where an ambulance and fire service can travel safely in the streets. But at the same time we remember about children's playgrounds, front gardens, benches, sandboxes, container platforms. All of this during conversations with inhabitants we try to realise in each yard», - told Igor Kulyazhev. </p> <p> «We have big, long-awaited plans. Inhabitants call us up, write, report the yards which has been waiting for repair. It is the most important program, due to which we will almost repair 300 yards, about 150 thousand citizens will feel the difference after all reconstraction works», - Ilsur Metshin, the Mayor of Kazan, made comments on the situation. </p> <p> It is planned to begin the improvement when the weather gets warmer. Since 2013, in view of the current year, 1885 yards will be repaired in Kazan. </p>
