It is planned to make flower beds on the area of 19 thousand square meters and plant two storks on Ershov Street.

(KZN.RU, Ksenia Shvetsova, May 28). Since the beginning of the year, 4 thousand trees and 20 thousand shrubs have been planted within the framework of complex gardening in Kazan. At present, about 60% of the planned landscaping works have been completed. Igor Kulyazhev, the deputy head and the chairman of the Committee for External Improvement, announced this today at the Business Monday.

Today the city is working on the arrangement of flower beds. They are planned to be planted on an area of 19 thousand square meters. In addition to flower beds, new voluminous floral figures will appear in the city.

Previously installed floral three-dimensional figures will be updated. New objects of floral decoration will appear in the city: the strengthening and gardening of the slopes near the monument to Vakhitov with the planting of annual and perennial plants, the installation of an automatic watering system, decorative flowering bushes in the zone near the clock on Bauman Street. A long flower garden on an area of 500 square meters will be planted near the river port.

At present, about 60% of the planned work has been completed. It is planned to complete them before June 15, noted I. Kulyazhev.

In addition, organizations and citizens decorate facades, adjacent and courtyard territories with flowers within the framework of the project “Blooming Kazan”, which started 4 years ago. “I would like to appeal to all heads of organizations with a request to take an active part in the project, to meet the guests of Kazan with beautifully decorated facades, entrances, floral compositions”, said I.
