Since July, the Greenpeace Russia together with volunteers measured the level of pollution in 50 points of the city.
(KZN.RU, October 16). The eco-center “Dom” will present the results of an air quality study that Greenpeace conducted in Kazan at 7 pm today. Greenpeace Russia together with volunteers studied the composition of air and its pollution in eight cities of our country, including the capital of Tatarstan.
As part of a study, 50 special Palms diffusion tubes were placed in the city in various districts in July. These devices are used to monitor air quality abroad. In August, the tubes were sent for analysis to the laboratory. Today, researchers are ready to present the results of their work to Kazan citizens. The volunteers will present an interactive map of the city with data on the concentration of nitrogen dioxide in samples, reports the Directorate of Parks and Squares.
