More than 40 thousand schoolchildren will rest in children's camps in Kazan

Shifts in camps will be organized in different profiles.

(KZN.RU, June 3). This year, more than 40 thousand schoolchildren will rest in children's camps in Kazan, including school camps. In the summer period, 30265 people will be covered with organized recreation. Airat Faizov, the chairman of the Committee for Children and Youth Affairs, said this at the Business Monday today.

Arrivals in 10 children's recreation camps of Kazan began from 1 June. In total, 14520 children will rest in country camps this summer. To date, the first shift is full, booking vouchers for the second shift is being held.

Parents can find all information on the camp infrastructure, the theme of the shift, leave a request and book a ticket to the municipal camp on the new website yal-kzn.ru. Also, a republican service is being introduced for online purchases of trips to children's health camps, said A. Faizov.

The standard of financing rest in country camps per child this year has grown by 6% and amounts to 776.52 rubles a day. In this case, the parental fee for the 18-day shift in the municipal camp will be from 4500 rubles, depending on the camp.

Vouchers to country camps are free of charge for children in difficult life situations. This year, according to the quota allocated by the Republican Center “Leto”, 1050 children will rest for free and improve their health in the camps of the republic.

As in the previous year, the camps will continue to work on profile shifts. It is planned to hold a sports shift “Olymp”, linguistic shifts “Funny English”, where native English speakers will speak with children, and a shift in “Zakulisie”, dedicated to the year of the theater in Russia. And the shift in “Prof-kids” will be timed to the WorldSkills Championship in Kazan.

“All shifts include teaching communicative skills to children. Preventive measures are planned with children to reduce psychological stress”, explained A. Faizov. Psychologists of the Center “Doverie” will hold training on the development of communication skills, as well as lectures on security on the Internet, he added.

“The section on creating conditions for education, playing sports, and maintaining a healthy lifestyle for young people is especially stressed in the Kazan Development Strategy until 2030”, noted Ilsur Metshin, the Mayor of Kazan. “Our task is to provide all the conditions for the development, study and recreation of children”.

In total, this year more than 200 thousand children in the republic will be covered by organized summer holidays.
