The public transport in Kazan will operate from 3 am on the day of Eid al-Adha celebration

<p> (KZN.RU, August 5, Ksenia Shvetsova). On August 11, Muslims will celebrate Eid al-Adha, one of the main holidays in Islam. It means the end date of the Hajj. Public transport, the routes of which pass through mosques, will operate from 3 am on this day, said Ilnur Shakirov, the head of the Department of language development and public relations, at the Business Monday today. </p> <p> The festive prayer in the mosques of Kazan will begin at 4 am with a sermon. After the festive prayer, they will start the ceremony of slaughtering sacrificial animals, which will be held at 16 sites for three days from 11 to 13 of August. </p> <p> “City services organize work to prevent unauthorized places of sacrificial animals’ sale and their slaughter in unidentified places”, noted I. Shakirov. “Law enforcement agencies will take the necessary measures to ensure public order and the safety of believers at the site”. </p>
