Residents of Kazan and surrounding districts will plant 1.5 million seedlings on the day of forest planting

Environmental event will be held near the villages Staroe Shigaleevo, Sosnovka and Kulseitovo.

Forest planting day will be held in Tatarstan and its capital on October 5. Residents of the Republic will plant 1.5 million seedlings of pine, fir tree, siberian larch, witchen, and other trees.

It should be noted that the tree planting event takes place within the framework of the Republican environmental campaign "The week of forest", which is scheduled on October 5-12, 2019. The experts of the forest industry will improve the recreation areas in the forests, install banners on fire and forest protection, collect seeds of forest plants and conduct the environmental lessons in the schools.

“The week of forest” is held by the Ministry of forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan since 2017. Last year, more than 20 thousand people participated in this event.
