<p> The next Kazanysh architectural forum will take place in the capital of Tatarstan from 1 to 3 December, 2022. This year, the theme of the forum is “City for youth”. The participants of the event will discuss what youth spaces Kazan needs. The forum will also summarize the results of the review-competition for the best architectural object in the city, which starts today. Ilsiyar Tukhvatullina, the chief architect of Kazan, announced this at Business Monday meeting. </p> <p> As the Mayor of Kazan Ilsur Metshin noted, it is important that not only experienced, but also young professionals participate in such events. “Young people should be deeply involved in the events, this will help them understand what are needs of the city are and present their vision of architectural trends. New masterpieces will be created in the collaboration of young and experienced representatives of architecture and urban planning”, - the Mayor said. </p> <p> “It is a great pleasure for us to participate in such events. Meetings are organized with the invitation of experts from the republic and other regions of the country. The development of the city and investments give ground for social optimism, as many people are lacking it”, - Ilsur Metshin said. </p> <p> I.Tukhvatullina informed that applications for the review-competition for the best object will be accepted until October 31. Participants will be able to present projects in 12 nominations: The best residential complex, The best individual residential building, The best commercial real estate facility, The best public space, The best art object, The best architectural structure, The best parking, "he best renovation site, The best urban planning concept, Residents' Choice, Debut of the Year and The best architectural illumination. </p> <p> Projects can be presented in three categories – implemented and planned, approved by the Department of Architecture and Urban Planning, as well as unimplemented and unapproved projects. The last category was added this year. “Such projects are often distinguished by their individuality. This is a great chance for young professionals to prove themselves and show their achievements. Such works show the potential of the architect, and these projects will serve as a signal to developers to attract and support young talented guys”, - Ilsiyar Tukhvatullina said. </p> <p> In conclusion, Ilsiyar Tukhvatullina invited the Mayor to head the jury of the competition. </p>
