Currently, there are 989 species of plants and 2,853 animals of 125 species in the Kazan zoo. In 2022, new inhabitants appeared in it – gorilla, Somali ass, flamingo, pheasant, crested porcupine, Far Eastern forest cat, otter, agouti, Welsh and Boer goats, Somali sheep and zebra.
