Seven schools of the Aviastroitelny and Novo-Savinovsky districts to be renovated this year

<p> This year, seven schools will be renovated in the Aviastroitelny and Novo-Savinovsky districts of Kazan. Repair work will also take place at 6 catering units of educational institutions. Two kindergartens are being built on Adoratskogo Street, and a school for 1,224 students is being built at the Stolichny residential complex. This was announced by the head of the district administration Fanis Nurmukhametov at the Business Monday meeting. </p> <p> “Now, it is hard to call the Aviastroitelny district an industrial suburb, or the Novo-Savinovsky district a bedroom, community,”- said Ilsur Metshin, the Mayor of the city. According to him, there is an intensive housing construction at the residential area, where two new kindergartens and a school are being built. </p> <p> “The pictures are always beautiful, but in reality, schools and kindergartens look even better than in sketch projects. Therefore, we are sure that these projects will please children, parents and teachers who will work there,”- the head of the city said. </p> <p> As reported by F.Nurmukhametov, today there are 132 educational institutions in the Aviastroitelny and Novo-Savinovsky districts, which are attended by 60 thousand children. Over the past five years, their number has increased by 10 thousand. </p> <p> By the new school year, school No. 143 and gymnasium No. 360 were overhauled in the Novo-Savinovsky district. Eight school canteens were renovated as well. </p> <p> Last year, a new kindergarten No. 150 was opened on the territory of the Stolichny residential complex, which is attended by 254 children. By the new school year, kindergarten No. 308 on Molodezhnaya Street will also open, where repair works have started in 2022. </p> <p> According to the Demography national project, the construction of two kindergartens on Adoratskogo Street is underway. One of them will open in September, the other will be commissioned by the end of 2023. </p> <p> In the new school year, the first lessons will be held at the school for 1,224 places, which is being built at the Stolichny residential complex. “The educational institution offers a range of areas: robotics and programming, engineering education, 3D modeling and development of unmanned vehicles, biotechnology and medicine in high school, attention is also paid to the study of Tatar and foreign languages,”- said the head of the district administration. </p> <p> The speaker drew special attention to the issue of security at the educational institutions. According to him, in 2022, 231 million rubles were allocated under the municipal program “Anti-terrorist protection in educational institutions”. Fences were replaced at 58 schools, security rooms were equipped at 55 schools, and checkpoints were installed at school No. 146 and school No. 179. Work on enhancing security measures will continue this year. </p> <p> Today, there are eleven large sports venues in the Aviastroitelny and Novo-Savinovsky districts. </p> <p> Earlier, the front of the Motor sports school was repaired, this year the football pitch will be updated here, design work is currently underway. The overhaul also took place at the Savinovo sports school, where the front of the building was updated, lighting was installed, and the stadium was equipped with tracks for running and jumping. </p> <p> Under to the Sport is the Norm of Life federal program, the construction of an open-air sports and recreation complex at school No. 49 has been completed. A football pitch, basketball and volleyball courts, as well as a workout area were provided here. Sports venue is for children with disabilities. </p>
