In 2022, the matches of the World Volleyball Championship will be held in Kazan

In addition to the capital of Tatarstan, another nine Russian cities will host the game.

(KZN.RU, May 29). In 2022, Kazan will host on the World Volleyball Championship matches. In addition to the capital of Tatarstan, another nine Russian cities will host the game.

Recently, following the results of inspection visits, the International Volleyball Federation (FIVB) approved eight cities for the world championship among men's teams. In addition to the Tatarstan’s capital, there are Moscow, St. Petersburg, Kaliningrad, Yekaterinburg, Krasnoyarsk, Novosibirsk, and Ufa. The federation will announce two other organizing cities within the next year.

The tournament will be held from August 26 to September 11, 2022. It will unite the 24 strongest national teams of the planet representing all the continental FIVB zones. Russia is among the participants as the host country of the tournament, as well as Poland as the current world champion, reports the press service of the Ministry of Sports of the RT.
